Contact your Local Action Group

A Local Action Group (LAG) is a term used to describe a group or project focussed on reducing the risks and impacts associated with invasive non-native species in a locality. LAGs to tackle invasive non-native species are a relatively new phenomenon, but have proven invaluable in delivering sustainable, long term management of certain species at a local and regional level. They also undertake a huge amount of work to increase awareness of the risks and impacts associated with invasive non-native species and have helped to bridge the gap between high-level policy and local stakeholders
